Various hunt lengths, species combinations and methods are available, just let us know your interests and abilities. We will do our best to provide the experience you are looking for, or recommend someone that can. When you are considering booking your hunt, please contact us and we will provide you with our available openings and a list of references. You make a significant investment of time and money in a hunt and need to make the most of that investment. The best value is quality; our hunts deliver the value you expect and deserve.
The number of hunters we serve is limited, our personalized, hands on approach, is designed to ensure the highest quality, most successful hunting adventure possible. With only a few openings available each year, we encourage planning ahead to secure your preferred dates. Only a small deposit is required for reservations made more than a year in advance.

The arrival/departure point for most of our hunts is Calgary International Airport. We can pick you up there (or at your hotel, should you need one), prior to your hunt and return you after your hunt is completed.

Terms and Conditions:
All deposits are protected by bonding. A 50% deposit is required to book a hunt for the upcoming season, for hunts booked further in advance, a smaller deposit will hold your dates. The balance is due in full (including license fees) 45 days prior to commencement of the hunt. We will issue a Hunt Contract and Client Information Form to be returned with your final payment.
Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are nonrefundable, if a replacement hunter is found, deposits can be transferred to a following year. In the event that Double Diamond Outfitters must cancel a hunt, all deposits will be refunded in full.

6 Day Mountain Mule Deer and Whitetail Combination Hunt |

Hunt in November in the foothills and Eastern
slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Stay in tent camp or ranch house
as required. We will use horses on mountain trails to reach those
places that hold trophy deer. Spot and stalk, rattling and
calling, still hunting and stands are the methods used. Start/end
the hunt in Calgary. Airport or hotel pick up included.

6 Day Mountain Mule Deer Hunt |

Hunt in October for Mulies in their bachelor
herds. You can upgrade this hunt to include black bear for
$1,000. Stay in tent camp or ranch house as required, depending
on hunting and weather conditions. We will use horses on mountain
trails to reach the places that trophy bucks call home at this
time of year. Start/end the hunt in Calgary. Airport or hotel
pick up included.

4 Day Prairie Mule Deer & Whitetail Hunt |

Deer hunts! Spot and stalk hunting on the prairie, Wednesdays through

added possibility of a whitetail while pursuing a trophy muley.

10 Day Antelope and Deer Combination Hunt |

multi-species hunt. You will use vehicles on the antelope and
horseback for the whitetail and mule deer. A fast paced hunt,
come in good condition as you will need to see lots of country in
the mountains to get all species. You can upgrade this hunt to

Hunt in Dec, Jan or Feb, Alberta has some of the
biggest cats around! You will likely be staying in hotel, hunting
in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains using snowmobiles and
vehicles to find cat tracks.

6 Day Archery Elk & Moose Combination Hunt |

The hunt is conducted in mid-September in the
Eastern Slopes of the Rocky Mountains. The elk rut is going
strong at that time and the moose rut is getting underway. We can
take up to two hunters. We usually focus our efforts on elk and
treat the moose as secondary but we can do it the other way
around as well. We use horses to get where we're going on this
hunt and then hunt on foot from there. Come in good physical
shape and practice to 50 yards! Start/end the hunt in Calgary.
